What Is Heartland?
Nestled in the midst of
hundreds of scenic acres, Heartland is the ideal place for your school’s outdoor education experience.
It’s also the perfect spot for retreats, conferences, training events, and personal get-aways. Teachers
and students appreciate the comfort of our air-conditioned, carpeted housing, as well as Heartland’s
commitment to excellence in all we do.
Heartland’s campus is conveniently located approximately 35 minutes north of Columbus, Ohio, within a
three-hour drive of most major Ohio metropolitan areas, with easy access by interstate highway.
While location and facilities are extremely important, when I hear the question, "What is Heartland?",
I immediately think of people, because Heartland is a place for people – people of all ages. It is a
place where people experience the beauty of nature. It is a place where people learn and grow. It is
an exciting place of discovery.
